Question Intake Air Temps for TUrbos...

Anyone else have intake air temp readings? i just installed my CMX-100(n2) and i've been pulling air intake temps for data analysis..

seems like during hard driving on the highway in the summer heat, i'm constantly getting around 90*F at 60mph while driving, and the faster i go, the temp dips down a bit-

but almost immediately after stopping at a light, i see the intake temps shoot up to past 100+ and after i had stopped it took around 2 minutes for the air temp to get to a cooler status..

im going to try to see if my water misting onto the intercooler helps out the air temps, but i was curious if anyone else is doing these types of measurements-

Funny you posted this. I've been logging intake temp for about a week. I'm using my Profec e0-1 anolog input scaled based on the service manual info. I'm sure both of us are pulling the temp from the IAT in the MAF.

I'm seeing almost the same thing. At idle it will go up a few degrees and at curise it drops. under boost it goes up 2-3 degrees and holds. I'm sure if you boost long enough to heat soak the IC it will go up more but I have yet to get to that point. I don't think it could happen on the streets, you'd have to be road course racing for quite a few laps before you'd get there.

What are your temp deltas under boost?
