PIT Performance 350Z Exhaust System

I was at HPFreak a couple of weeks ago and saw the exhaust pictured. It was indeed good quality.
It is a Y-pipe back not a cat back... or at least the part I saw was. A good price too, but Apexi is too loud for me and I would expect the same sound.
Besides I'd already ordered my Fujit.

We didn't build the exhaust and cannot therefore say for sure if the N1 design or any part of it was used to derive the PIT exhaust.
It is really common that these new comers (for import markets) copies design of top Japanese racing company. Just like there are knock off of RS-R Exhaust also.

It might look like the real McCoy but there’s that old saying, “You get what you pay for!” I bet it does not have the same sound or performance quality as the real exhaust........ Just my .02

I was really interested until I caught one thing;
On the dyno chart, the "base run" was done at 1:19:25. This netted 225/200.
Only TWO MINUTES later, the "test run" was done netting 240/207. Please explain this; there is NO WAY you installed the exhaust in 2 minutes.
So... whats the deal?

"That is the time he prints it out not the time of the pull. We make
three pulls stock and save them on the computer then replace the piece
with ours then make three more pulls, then we have them print our the
charts that's way the are so close together.
Thanks for keeping the industry honest

As far as the time-line on the exhaust pricing, it will start going up as they start moving. I won't raise it to $600 right away, but as people get them and realize how nice they are we expect demand to increase significantly. At that point, pricing will go up.
Luckily PIT doesn't have a MAP policy in place to prevent me from selling these as low as I am. I do think, however, it will benefit PIT to get them into a few customers hands inexpensively to gain some momentum.
Take care,
Chris.

I am very interested in this one but am concerened about 2 things:
1) How did they manage to get that much more WHP above the Apexi if they are pretty much the same?
2) what is the noise level is it still in legal realms (95db)?

dont compare dyno #'s unless the runs were done on the same dyno the same day, after cool downs. There are too many vairables to compare to different companies dyno #s.

wow....stock 250z dynod at 225hp/200lbfts sounds like a lemon...or possibly they dynod the stock exhaust in the wrong gear and then redynod the new exhaust in 5th. BUT - if you want sound & looks im sure this is a great investment considering the price and you could spent your leftovers on high flow cats or something.
