Default Flowzair air filter, anyone tried this stuff?

Anyone tried it before? http://www.thebestoil.com/flowzair.htm

I am always a bit of a skeptic when it comes to Amsoil's products(mainly due to the way they market their products)

IMO, no filter better than K&N.

Kinda reminds me of Tabasco sauce..(often imitated, never duplicated)

The concept is interesting. But what are the chances of oil from the foam filter following distally towards and messing up the mass flow sensor?

about the same chances as that of a K&N, as it's an oiled filter also. I know I won't be using anything but a dual stage element. If you suck particles into your engine, I guarantee you it's not going to burn cleanly and go right out the exhaust pipe w/o leaving something behind.

Good filter, more restrictive than K&N, but more effective as a filter too.

Check this out:http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/
They test a foam filter (HKS) vs an oiled (K&N)

The only pictures I can find of that Apexi Universal (#500-A021), shows some kind of bolt pattern on the back of the filter where its supposed to be mounted..Does the damn thing have a flange like K&N filters???? Anyone
