I have the same exhaust on my RX-7 and my 240SX.

I got the one for the RX-7 first (right when the titanium series was introduced) and loved it. Very lightweight at a good price compared to all the other titanium exhaust systems out there. The tip on the RX-7 is straight cut and angled. This one didn't come with a siliencer.

I liked it so much I got it for my 240SX (just recently), but was dissapointed when I opened the box. The tip seemed significantly larger than the tip that was on the RX-7. The tip is also rolled instead of straight cut making it look even bigger. But on the upside, it was well priced and extremely lightweight, and has that cool angled look. Also this one came with a silencer.

If you get one when it comes out, beware of the large tip size (116mm). And it may be a single 3" exhaust back from the Y-pipe. Most likely not true dual.

Well that sucks, I should have ordered it when they made the straight tips.

I bet all the new ones include silencers too eh?

that I am not sure about. I know we first noticed this a couple months ago when a customer opened his Ti for the Evo. We called Greddy - they did not even know Japan was changing tip designs

They roll up, so it's more durable. The old tip get damage easily when hit.

Tru Dual doesn't mean it's neccessary better, and most of the time it weight more. Most of racing exhaust from Japan for Z is single 80mm type. And it's hard imagin that Greddy's "RACING" exhaust is less performer than their "EVO".

So this exhaust will be a Y to single tip basically straight pipe? I'm looking for the lightest exhaust available I don't care if it gives me 0 HP or even -5hp if it weighed 10 lbs or less.

Why not just get the JIC Ti, or the new Magnaflow Ti (which i heard was a rebadged JIC)

because from My past experience, and what I read from Japanese magazine, Greddy exhaust usually makes more HP than JIC exhaust. Dunno about Manaflow Ti. Reallly??? it;s a rebadge JIC???

JIC is nice, but beware of their customer service if the product fails.

I'll agree about the custome service with JIC. I had to warranty the resonator on my old one, and it took them almost two months. ALL magnaflow titanium mufflers are JIC, or imported from japan. they are not de-badged, they just aren't badged at all. The greddy will be a much better deal IMO
