Victor I got your pm, I tried to send you a reply but your pm box was full, guess that has to do with something you said in the pm. I wrote quite a bit, basically, I completely agree with you.

As the exclusive importer and distributor we do not retail the product because that would conflict with our distributors retail efforts. Basically why would someone distribute our product is their competition to retail the product was the very supplier. I hope you understand it is for the integrity of the product line that we have this company policy.

But do not fret Avalon Racing can get you the headers at a special discount we have provided here for my350z members. I hope you enjoy the headers and the pricing considering we had to really squeeze this out of our sales department. But I believe that the members here deserve the discount for their participation in such a huge thread (now at 14 pages)...

Enjoy,
Victor D.

Default Hi Victor

I just got off the phone with Avalon and I will be very interested in these headers.
At this point, I'm close to making a buy.

Is it going to be possible to get a copy of the installation instructions?

I live in Canada and I need a nice clean install.

thanks

The instructions are going to be posted online before monday for all to see...I just have to find the file that the tech department has them under. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

Sorry guys i have not been on the site for a while. But I just got my headers and testpipes today. As soon as I get my car to the dealer for some clicking noise im getting out of it I am doing the installs and dynos. Alphawerks said they would cover the parts, install and dynos so I should have it all set up for next week if the dealer gives me an appointment. Also Alphawerks told me that they were in the middle of developing a true dual exhaust for the Z that will go through two seperate tubes the entire length of the car. I will also post on this if I decide to do this also.

hmmm, i wonder if on thier true dual exhaust they plan to at least have a crossover or balance tube? i mean true dual isnt all its made out to be. yes the true dual mufflers & tips are much better than a single design but a crossover tube or balance tube that connects the 2 pipes allows for better exhaust scavenging...... just my .02c

Well all of this is of course a consideration on the exhaust there seem to be so many options...but as for the headers and testpipes I am ready to go. I will post some pics as soon as I get my digital camera to work again

GOOD QUESTION????

Are these the headers that seem to look exactly like DCs and TopSpeeds??

I just read through this WHOLE thread, what a joke, no independant dynos after that???

btw, someone mentions that "why doesn't Nismo or stillen get questioned like this"?......ummmm, I believe Stillen has had plenty of critism on this board, ane the reason NISMO doesn't is because they do NOT make OUTRAGOUS claims, they claim thier exhaust does 6 hp increase, which is EXACTLY what it has been dynod at (some even got slightly more). Who else out there even claims a 6HP increase for exhaust??? NOONE, because NISMO isn't trying to make crazy claims.

btw, I just installed Nismo exhaust and DC headers, very happy with the increase in power and even more happy with the mid range torque increase!!!!
