URGENT HELP NEEDED: Injen Straight Tip
hey guys im about to go insane right now i am so confused....i just recieved my Injen exhaust(staright tip).
i had it put on at Midas, everything went smoothly.
then i drove the car home....and it felt EXTREMELY sluggish to say the least.
imagine that you had a Honda Civic with vtec...now imagine taking the vtec out of that motor. that is what my car feels like right now.
do i have a defective exhaust?(i bought it brand new) i tried disconnecting my battery, let it idle, shut it off, then went for a test drive...the car felt a little better but still LESS powerfull then when i had the stock exhaust on...somebody PLZ help me with anything you might know...anything will help me! thank you =(
ps. I also have test pipes

You lose torque at lower rpms with a more flowing exhaust. You are feeling the torque loss, that is normal. The power gains are above 3000rpms. It also takes around ~100 kms for ECU to adjust. Drive it hard a couple of days, you will be fine.

When you say less, how much are you exagerating? I think maybe while you were sitting on your butt letting Midas install it and you realized you should have done it yourself that maybe your butt dyno got out of whack. I would have it adjusted.
