Default Cold Air Intake for sale

Selling a Cold Air Intake.

It is a Injen intake tube that was modified to pull cold air from in front of the radiator, behind the bumper, and protect that cold air from engine heat with a real gold heat shield. Has a hold for an air temperature sensor.

Comes with a new and used K&N filter.

Also comes with an air flow reducer that allows the air to smoothly transition down to the smaller size.

It uses the existing opening in the radiator mount and bolts to the intake plenum.

$250 plus shipping from the SF Bay Area. PM if interested.

Air comes from the front of the radiator, behind the bumper:

And goes through the OEM holes to the engine compartment:

No one's intersted in this? It is about the best cold air intake you can make for the 350Z. It cost me over $600 in time, parts and welding...

I'm very surprised this hasn't sold yet! No one wants it? I couldn't find a better intake after searching high and low, so we modified an Injen tube and came up with this! Nothing pulls cooler air from a high pressure zone better than this.

Curious, what is actually modified? My Injen CAI looks just like this minus the gold stuff

I changed this one to accept a much larger air filter and dropped the filter into the airflow.

I also added a 'center peice' that fits between the air filter and tube to smooth out the airflow as it enters the smaller tube.

I'm asking $250, but I'm taking offers...

Oh, and it's less than the $400 MSRP for the one you have... ;-)

I'm curious, what welding did you need to do? Everything you've shown on photo's looks like off the shelf/part of the kit!
