Default What to watch out for, Buying Z

soon getting a 350z and the only thing that bugs me is the large number of feathering complaints... i wouldnt want to be spending $$ or hassling with the dealership about my tires all the time so is there anything to look out for? certain year? VIN number kinda thing any batches that are worse kinda thing?

i will be getting a black 04 6mt shortly just trying not to be unlucky and end up with feathering issues...

on another note is there anything else i should look out for when getting a Z ?

Read top thread and the amount of people replacing their tranny. Not so good. Though i have 21k on my car and shifts like butter not a problem yet, unless you call going over a speed bump in second with a ping noise a problem
