Default rear spoiler weight

Hey good folks,
I need some good advice. I put a Veilside Version 2 rear wing on my 350Z. Now, with the weight of the wing, the hydraulics won't hold the hatch up. Any recommendations on what I can do to solve this problem?

remove the 1.5 lb wt that's shaped like a bat, kinda, and resides in your hatch under the plastic cover...solved my problem.

removing that weight is not enough to solve the problem for the veilside wing.. you'll still have use your head to hold the trunk up.
