Default new alignment specs - how it affects handling

I was wondering if the people that had the tire feathering TSB (tire replacement and alignment to new specs) done noticed any changes in the handling characteristics of our cars?

I just had this TSB performed by my dealer right before I stored the car for winter so I didn't really have a chance to test for any handling problems. However during my short drive home from the dealer I noticed that the car does not stick to the pavement as well as it did before when going around corners.

I'm just wondering if the other members here have noticed similar problems with the new alignment specs and how they dealt with it.

Also, has anybody found a permanent fix for the infamous tire feathering? From what I've gathered from this forum, the problem seems to be a design flaw in the suspension but nobody seems to be able to pinpoint which part of the suspension that is causing the problem. I'm really sick and tired of dealing w/ nissan and I have lost faith in them as a reputable company that stands behind their products. So I plan to swallow the cost myself and replace the faulty suspension parts on my own if we could just figure out what needs to be replaced.

The only thing I noticed was that the steering got heavier. It's not like manual steering, but was enough of a difference to bug me.

Now my front tires are starting to feather on the outside corners instead of the inside!
