Default self adjusting window

Seems like alot of window problems with these cars. My window goes up and down but the self-adjusting when you open and close the door doesnt work. So the window always stays up. The dealer replaced the window regulator and that didnt fix the prolbem. Any one else have this problem?

Well, talked with service rep after new window regulators were put in( which didnt solve the problem) and told him that along with the self-adjusting window not working the dome light doesnt come on when you open the drivers door only. This would tell me that there is some type of sensor that is not telling the car that the door is being open or closed. Sound logical? Well now i have to bring the car in so they can diagnose the problem, order the part and set up another appointment to bring the car in. This will make 4 full days the dealer has had the car to fix a simple window problem. I think this will be my first and last Nissan vehicle.

That part about the door opening sensor sounds logical. As for your justification for this being your first and last Nissan vehicle, that sounds illogical. Its not like they can plug in a computer to your door and have it tell them what part is causing the problem. They gotta do some trial and error. Unfortunetly their first guess wasn't right, but I don't think any other car company could do any better.
