Default Costco Floor Jacks

Went to CostCo today and right next to the $120 aluminum racing jack, there is a cheaper looking $65 cast iron jack with a minimum height of 4 inches. Haven't measured the ground clearance of my stock suspension but it will probably fit. Has anyone tried this jack? or should I get the $120 aluminum jack?

Yes! The one I saw was had a blue baked-on paint. Sound like a good investment.

i got the aluminum one...very userfriendly and cool looking. the other one looks like a truck jack, and forget it if you lower your car. re the harborfreight one, 14 3/4" lift height isn't much. i like to have room when i'm down there. i get claustrophobic when its too low. you get what you pay for.

I have the blue jack also. It is great for the cost. I had it for a few years and no problems. The only problem I had, I took it to a track event and it was just damn too heavy. Its some heavy duty stuff.

Next to that, I like that it doesn't go high fast. I can control the height easier. But thats me.
