Default rear squirter won't stop leaking!

this problem is driving me nuts

i used the rear wiper/squirter and now everytime i take the car out, water leaks out from the squirter....anyone else have this problem and what's the fix?

i don't really need it and i am going to tape this up if the problem continues....unless there is any easy fix

its a pita to wipe the water off the rear window everytime i drive my car...i hate waterspots

thanks

i believe its a problem with all 350's especially new ones. Mine dosnt do it as often as it used to and i also dont use my rear squirter barely ever. It hasnt bothered me enough to actually make me discover a solution to the problem.

There is a TSB for that problem, just take it in to get fixed.

cool...will do....i am do for an oil change anyways

much appreciated....lots of tsb's out there...sucks when you're the victim

but as long as nissan is fixing them no questions asked then i guess that will have to do. i just don't like having to take my car to the dealership and have them work on it....seems like they always screw shiiat up

rw....ouuuuuut

Rip it out!

I took mine out when I removed the rear wiper.

The Z looks much better now.

I didnt know this was a TSB, mine does this on hard acceleration...

so lets see...

Seat shifting
transmission grind
axle click
reat squirter leaking
side bolster upholstery fading fast

...about my upholstery, its wearing thin, but apparently not thin enough to warrant a replacement. My 98 Accord had 85000 miles and looked 10 times better than the Z does. Pretty sad.

Every day brings me more and more dissapointment in my poor Z. Oh well, I am stuck with it for a while longer, so I had better get used to it I guess...

i am thinking about plugging the rear wiper hose since i don't use the rear wiper anyways....or get rid of it completely

does anyone sell a kit to replace the rear wiper?

also, tacomaboy.....its still a great car for the money if with the problems

I guess... but its just really depressing to know I dish out 511 hard earned dollars a month for a car with lots of little problems... it is fun though, and its a beautiful car, but I just wanted it to stay perfect...

I ripped mine off when I took off my windshield wiper. I bought 2 drain plugs from the sink section at home depot. Painted them, threw some silicone on them, and installed them. Looks great and was extrememly easy! No pics yet though (role's not finished yet.)
