Default Window Problem?

I'm not sure if this is a function of the power windows but when I close the passenger and driver side doors, even though the windows seem to be "rolled up", the window itself still moves upward ever so slightly on both sides. Is this a problem or do all 2005 Zs do this? Thanks!

The windows provide a small space to relieve cabin pressure while the door is shut then they seal by adjusting about an inch. The door would be impossible to shut if not for this feature.

They all do it, it is supposed to allow the door to close without the window hitting the top. Safety feature.
