Hi I have a 03 Z and the transmission seems to be going bad again. The original was replaced early last year because it grined in 4th 5th and 6th and wouldnt even go in 3rd. Now the problem is when I stop in nuetral and try to put it in 1st it occasionaly grinds and also if I try to skip gears, like go from 3rd to 6th (because I dont feel the need to go throw all the gears) it grinds no matter what rpm the engine was at in 3rd gear. I have a short shifter on it now and was wondering if I should bring it into the dealer the way it is or should I just reinstall the stock shifter. and do you think they will repair/ replace the transmission or will they just tell me to stop skipping gears. o yea and it gets worse through the time.

a grind when going 3rd to 6th is understandable because the synchros were not designed to handle such a dropoff in rpm.
