Default A/C and Heat problem

Hey everyone

I'm having a problem with my a/c and heat

When I have my a/c on, its only cold at the Lowest setting, if I turn it up 1 degree it goes totally hot. Also, my heat can't be set to variable temps, its always hottest only. So basically I have two temps available to me, super cold, or super hot.

I took it in to nissan and they think that the ambient sensor was disconnected when my compustar alarm was installed and if that's the case, then I have to pay for the repair.

Can anyone shed some light onto this? Is that possible? My alarm installer claims that they didn't disconnect anything, and I need to figure out what's going on soon cuz my warranty is up in about a week!

Thanks!!

ask/demand that they can check the blend door actuators... it's freaking broken and you're under warranty. but i don't know if they're vacuum or electrical actuators. i'm thinking it's either the actuator or control head (where you push the button on the center stack).

the ambient sensor wouldn't have an affect on this, dealer's just bs'ing you.
