Default Dealer says squeaking in the rear axle is not covered anymore?

I was under the notion 60k powertrain warranty applied to the suspension as well I guess I am wrong? I currently have 55k on my car is this true?

try different dealer. However, powertrain only apply to your engine. Not suspension.

suspension is not part of the "powertrain" But I'd think it would still be covered depending on what the problem is. did they happen to identify the noise?

At first they blamed my Volk rims and my aftermarket tires S03's, then I had them transfer me to the service director. After some talking he then said powertrain does not cover the squeeking. The frequency of the squeeking is directly correlated to the speed of the car and when driving next to a wall or barrier the sound is more apparent from the rear so I would conclude its the bearings. I just checked the Nissan warranty and powertrain does cover the drivetrain propeller shaft to bearings. I'm starting to get peeved that I was lied by the service manager, at the time I couldnt say anything due to my lack of knowledge of the warranty.

The 60,000 powertrain warranty is your motor, trans, drive shaft, and rear end(axles and what not) It covers more than just motor.

I also got that rear axle squeking sound...I printed ou the TSB for it, bring it to the dealer. They ordered the parts to fix it. Today is the day they fix it, but they said that the parts on the TSB is old and will not fixed the problem. They have a new TSB for the axle and ordering the new parts for me. I love my dealer. Wish you best of luck bro.
