Default 2 new noises...would appreciate any help

Hey guys,

I've got 2 new noises that I need help with.

#1) When I make a hard right turn, I hear a loud clunking sound. Not exactly sure where it comes from but it is definitely from the front of the car, most likely the right side. Any ideas?

#2) When my AC is on it makes a high pitched squealing sound..it is pretty constant. Again any ideas what is going on?

Thanks for your help guys,
NzZ

Don't know anything about the A/C noise. However, I believe I am experiencing the same "clunk" when making hard turns, turns while braking hard, when backing up with wheels turned full right. Bizarre. Mine sounds like it is coming from the driver's side, but probably is the same problem. I took mine to the dealership to get the tranny and clunk looked at. They were so preoccupied with the tranny (replaced twice in one visit) that they never addressed the clunking. Let me know if you find anything out.

There are TSB's out for both thse issues (at least for 03 cars). The clunking is probably loose upper control arm, and the ac is a bad compressor if I remember correctly.
