Default Trunk release?

Does this work with the key fob? Anyone have any problems with the trunk not opening? When I sometimes push the button above the licence plate it won't open......Help!

is it REALLY cold? one time those 2 little black things got frozen to the car. kept it from opening all the way... that only happened once for me. its just like when your door is frozen shut, except this one only has the power of the struts to open it.

The third button down on the FOB opens the hatch.

Also, I don't believe that the button above the license plate will open the hatch unless the doors are unlocked.

oh i had the same problem! be sure to HOLD down the button and be somewhat close to the hatch; if you just tap the button it doesn't work on mine; good luck!

oh one more interesting thing- in the manual it says the remote has a range of 33 ft (pretty good!); and that if you hit unlock button once and then hit it again it and hold down for like 5 seconds it will roll both windows down, pretty neat if you ask me
