Well, I put it on. The first time I've ever used it. And I don't like
the way my windshield and hatch streak. So what is a good way
to get rid of rainex with no damage to window or owner?

streak? what do you mean? you apply it just like wax, except remove it with a damp cloth, it should come out crystal clear as tho nothing was there, but when it rains, wipers become optional.

 

Streak? I have been using rainex for several years and ares is right, just apply like wax and you can drive through a downpour without using the wipers if you want. The water is supposed to bead and run straight up and off the windshield, in most cases it may be several beads, but not enough to cause a distraction. It eventually just wears off, I've never even considered trying to take it off, have you, ares? Sorry, the subject has never come up before, what don't you like about it?
