how do you adjust the E-brake

how do you adjust the E-brake
After disassembling my rear wheel hubs, i noticed my ebrake isnt as tough as it used to be, my car will roll sometimes if my ebrake isnt on the very last click all the way up. Any way i can adjust this so i can maybe pull it up less for it to be clamped fully?
