Loud clicking from temp controls

Loud clicking from temp controls
As the title says, I get this loud clicking from the temp controls every now and then, almost like a TV popping or something. Is this normal? I can live with it but damn!
Oh, I have an 06 tour coupe and generally keep it the a/c heat controls on auto.
