Tranny grinding - warranty
After the last month long fiasco while I waited for Nissan to replace my engine at 26000 miles last year, I was reluctant to bring the car in for the latest problem - grinding into 3rd gear every time shifting above 4000 RPM. So after talking to the service manager and he agreed to look at the car one day, and he will call me to bring the car back when the parts are in. I dropped the car off Thursday morning for them to check it out. Friday comes around and no word from Nissan. I leave a message. They call back Friday at 4:30pm and he said I can pick the car up and they will call me when they get the parts and they will also fix the axle clicking. I hop in the car in front of a bunch of sales guys who were jaw dropped, and I get in and I almost stall the car ... WTH ... the clutch grabbed unusually fast. I pull out and slam 3rd and the tranny was fixed and all done!!! I must have misunderstood the service guy and he was solely referring to the parts for the clicking.
My car is a 2003 Touring at 42000 miles w/ Coilovers, Exhaust, Plenum, Test Pipes.
