To those who have digimoto OBDII Scanner.

I need to buy a USB to serial connector to get my laptop to work with the scanner. Digimoto's website sells a USB-to-Serial adaptor. Can I just buy any USB-to-serial adaptor (at Fry's) or do I have to use a specific type offered by Digimoto?

I've used a cheap usb to serial convertor that I got off the web and it worked with a home built scantool from scantool.net and the digimoto software.
