I have a small 5,000 lb (portable) floor jack for which I made a cushioned jack pad for my z from the garage shelf. Cut a 1 " slice of a 2" dia rubber boat trailer roller. Cut a 1/2" x 1/4" grove down the middle. Cut a 3/8" slice off an old scull oar handle that was the size of jack lift round, to hold the rubber pad in place. Crazy Glued the rubber pad to the oar slice and voila, Z Jack Pad. Works like a charm. But thanks for the JC Whitney link. My Rube Goldberg model might not hold up during Sebring wheel changes. Can you get into the Sebring race with feathered tires???

I found some ramps at Wal-Mart. They are made by Blitz. They are called Rhino Ramps. They have a 17 degree incline and you just drive the z right up. They are not so high so I put the jack underneath and up it goes. I want those blocks for a jackstand, so i could put the stands under the rocker panels at the jack points. Do those blocks work on stands or just jacks?

Just saw the thread. I use Takata LDS ramps, which are supposedly made from recycled Takata harnesse to drive up on first and I also use the aluminum racing floor jack available at Pep Boys. You can view the images below and see that both are made for lowered vehicles.

There is actually a rear jack point Well sort of, you can actually jack the car from the rear at the tow hook on the driver side

Couple things on this topic... 1) I was using rhino ramps to do oil changes and get the car high enough for my std shop floor jack (too tall w/o the ramps). However, I went to harbor freight and bought a 1 1/2 ton aluminum jack which has a round and flat lifting surface. the jack was $80 on sale ($100 normally I believe), and will be great for the track as its nice and light. they also have a jack and aluminum 2x jack stand combo for $200. that was more than i wanted to spend, although jack stands that only weigh a couple pounds is tempting. they do sell them (Al jackstands) separately online, but the retails stores don't seem to stock them. 2) working on the car at home, i bought this:

It fits in my std shop jack, works perfectly, and is pretty cheap. I love the aluminum jack, but surmise it will have a limited lifespan - I'll use it at the track, but continue to use the ramps and std. jack when at home.

I have heard there is a jack adapter available from the dealer. Basically from that photo posted earlier it seems the car can be jacked up from the differential and the transmission housing. So basically all that is needed is the adapters for the jack stands so it doesn't crush that little railing. I have craftsman jackstands and the stand looks a little thick I wonder if the stand adapter in that photo will work. Any input on people who have bought an adapter that worked and is available?

Per my link above, here are two options to the jcwhitney trolley block. I had seen that before, and think its a good choice, but since no one (including me) can find the dang thing on their site...

Here's a couple of options from Westwood - click on the link in my post above.

Pep Boys has Prothane jack stand pads in a variety of sizes (and currently, they are offering free shipping). Here's an example...
