After two months of driving with no problems, my A/C started making clicking then rumbling everytime i turn it on...Nissan mechanics say its normal but i seriously doubt it.

It sounds louder when turned on after aggresive driving.

Anyone having similar problems??


Also they found a valve cover seeping oil, and ordered me new gaskets to have it replaced...WTF!

A/C in NJ in the wintertime? Must be hotter in the north than I thought!

Noises don't sound normal to me. Where are they coming from? The dash area or under the hood. A refrigeration mechanic should be able to tell if the system is working properly. Other mechanics may not know and try to tell you it's OK.

Slight oil leaks can happen, even on new cars. That will be easy to fix; don't worry about that.

yes, a/c is the winter but i'm not trying to cool myself off, the weather is doing just fine...

what happens is that when i turn on the defogger, the a/c turns on, actually it turns on by default whenever i turn on the fan.

the sound seems to be coming from right behind the center dash.
