Default Powertrain Warranty??

I have an '03 Track w/ 30k miles and have a question about the powertrain warranty. I have the "clicking" rear axle problem and it seems to be getting worse or maybe it just seems that way 'cause I'm driving w/ the windows down more now. Anyway, my question is; has anyone else had this covered under the 6yr/60k mile powertrain warranty? I would assume that this should be covered but you never know about Nissan dealers. I actually took it in at about 15k miles while I was still under the bumper to bumper warranty but they claimed that they "could not duplicate the problem". I never got around to bringing it back in and now I'm only covered by the powertrain warranty. I have a copy of the TSB on this issue and I plan on going to a different dealership but does the TSB even make a difference? I really need some clarification on what my "rights" are under the warranty so I don't get jacked by the dealership.

Yes. Read the warranty. The rear axle clicking is a material deficiency and is covered under warranty.

But does the rear axle fall under the 5-year powertrain warranty? His 3-year bumper-to-bumper may have expired.

I don't think it would, but I'm not sure.

The sub-components of the powertrain are spelled out in the warranty. Generally, the power train is from the engine to the drive wheels.
