its almost 10pm over here and my car decides to throw me 3 codes and not want to start anymore. to top it off, my windows are down and its parked in the street.

the headlights turn on by themselves and interior dash lights also come on by themselves as soon as i turn the key to acc. dome lights, locks, alarm, and windows all dont work.

the codes thrown were 610, 612 and 001

i just want to roll my windows up for now. ill deal with it tomorrow if i have to.

i cant seem to find any of the codes in the manual. any help would be very much appreciated.

001: Fuel Volume Regulator Circuit Open
610: Control Module Vehicle Options Malfunction
612: Injector Control Module Relay Control

sounds like a bad Body Control Module. But those codes dont make sense are you sure those codes are correct? Did you pull them with a code puller or count flashes?

i counted flashes. 2 of the 3 codes i got now i had the last time i fried the bcm. i hope its not the bcm. i already fried it once. actually, i'd rather have it be a fried bcm then a fried ecu. big price difference.

i just dropped off the car at the dealership. i cant wait see what kind of price rape they have in store for me.

 

just an update. the car was fixed and it only cost me $106. of course 87 of it was in labor. bcm was fine.
