I have a 2003 Performance Z MT, it has about 56000KM on it. Lately, I've been noticing that the gas gauge doesn't seem to move at all when I'm driving. For example, I drive to Richmond Hill from Mississauga alot, it is about 65KMs. When I arrive at Richmond Hill, the gas gauge is the same as when I left! But when I shut off the car, go for a drink and come back, turn on the car, the gauge will show less gas!

I was wondering if this was normal?? It didn't seem to be this obvious before, I'm afraid the gauge is gonna dye on my one day without me noticing the I'm running low on gas....

 

Yeah that is a fairly common problem. It will leave you stranded if you don't stay on top of it. I think yours is covered under warrant but im not sure. Get it checked out.
