Default tps problem

I just bought some used 18 inch factory rims with tps and I used to have 17
inch rims with tps on My Z but now the tps sensor won't read the pressure of
tires
any good idea to solve this problem. thank you

Either put the old sensors on your new rims or take the new rims to dealer to have them re-calibrate the new sensors. Every new set of TPS must be calibrated to the new car they are introduced to. Example: my sensors won't work on your car unless they are re-calibrated to work with your car's computer.....

Have fun.

Here is a related question I have. I purchased a new set of wheels with tires mounted and balanced from the tire rack. I don't want to have the tires removed just to have the sensors installed and the tires re-mounted and re-balancedI'll just wait til I need a new set of tires.
At first this didn't cause any problem with the low tire pressure warning system but I sold my OEM rims to a place that buys used rims. They removed the sensors for me and I put them in my car for the drive home. The computer read the sensors on the seat of my car and now every time I start my car I get the Low Tire Pressure warning. How do I clear this from the computer?

Move the sensors far away from your car.

Moving the sensors away from the car does nothing. The computer still thinks the tires have no pressure in them even though it has been a couple of months since they were on the seat of my car.How can I clear the code from the computer?

Ok, after reading through a few threads on the tpms sensors, I'm confused.

I just got my '03 z a week ago already with aftermarket wheels on it. The PSI warning light and the PSI indicator are on and i read "---" for pressure.

Originally I thought that the previous owner just never transfered the sensors. But after reading this post, am I understanding that the warning light shouldn't be on if the sensors are not near the car for the tpms to pick up the signal? and if this is the case, maybe the sensors are in the wheels, but not registered for some reason?

If I am wrong about this let me know and I will be on the lookout for some sensors for sale.
