I know that solid colors are not clear coated on some brand cars (Toyota). Does anybody know for certain if Super Black 350Zs are clear coated?

I'm about to order Zaino and it makes the difference between if I get Z2 or Z3.

Seriously.. nobody knows?

 

It is clear coated in fact... the clear coat is very weak.. scratches too easily IMO BTW.. i used Blackfire on mines.. check it out in the Detailing Section... very easy to apply and there's no cure/wait time!!

 

Used BlackFire on mine too and came out great. Washed the car tonight and noticed fine scratches starting though. Rinsing the wash mitt a lot but still happens.

Yeah, I've noticed the black seems to scratch really easy. I've had my car less than 2 weeks, and after two car washes it's already getting swirls.

One of the reasons I want to get it Zainoed asap is to give it a layer of protection against.
