Was at dealer today and was asking him about the traction control and if it could be turned off (not VDC mind you) It was a base and I'm interested in an enthusiast or performance. But would like to be able to turn the comp controled **** off. Let me know, I've scraped together the cash now I just need to figure out which one. Thanks in advance

 

Only Enthusiast has just TCS. You can turn it off with a switch on the dash. Performance, Touring & Track have both TCS & VDC. Both turn of simultaneously with one switch on dash. In all cases, the systems default to on each time you start the car. There are threads on this site that show how to install a relay that can reverse the default behavior, ie it normally is off and you have to turn it on.
