The G and the Z use the same flywheel but timing is different---So---There are 2 female holes in the flywheel to accept the Male pin on the end of the crank---One hole is for the G ,,the other is for the Z

if it was that the car wouldn even work... happened to me and the car starts but it sounds like there is a chunk of metal running throught the engine and tranny. they probably forgot to coneect a sensor when they reinstalled the tranny.

And the only sensors affected by tranny removal are the 2 O2s and the CPS

alrite soooo another problem... just earlier i was driving and like the car jolted again, and the VDC OFF light and the SLIP light both came on and stayed on... also i found out that it's the crank shaft position sensor that's damaged causing the rev limiter to kick in at 4 grand... so it's 40 dollars for the part... but yeahhh does any1 know why the lgihtscame on...???? let me know.. thanks

Replace the sensor ---U mite just be getting a bad signal cuz of the erotic actions---Slip mode is a little sensitive

One side is for FWD VQ35... the other is for RWD...

Timing marks on the flywheel are the same for 350z / G35 and use the same crank position pin...

Sounds like a sensor problem to me like mentioned above...
