Mine just started to crap out too. With the door closed and the window down, I use the auto close feature and it comes back down almost half way.....hope my factory warrenty is not dead yet!

About 25k. Talked to the dealership today...warrenty ran out in may. On the bright side, they told me that there is a reset switch inside the door. I will try it before I pay any dealership service prices.

I think its a matter of heat cycles maybe. After 2 hot summers, they started to show signs of failing and eventually stopped working all togther.

I have an 06 with 4k and no summer use and my passanger window stopped doing the drop when you open it. Goes in on Tuesday.....the service guy tried to tell me there is a setting in the PCM (PCM????) that controls this....LOL.

Window fixed ....for now...I hope for a long time.
The door panel was easy to take off. 1 screw , under a button cap. Then 2 screws under the switches (the handle and switches will pop out as one piece). The button is hidden under a round sticker (there are 3 to look under).
It took me several tries to get it right, the dealer said to lower the window, hold the button in, raise the window (without using the auto up feature), let go of the button, lower the window (without using the auto down feature). And that is it.
I expected to find an electronic type of reset switch. All this button does is line up internal plastic gearing of some sort (I could not resist tearing it apart). Reminds me of my old 280ZX. It had a voice recording that told you different things like "door is ajar". I found the source of the recording and it was a vinyl record.
