Question Factory Alarm

Is it my car?? I can set the factory alarm with the windows rolled down and open the doors and not set the alarm off...

What purpose does this thing server..Or is it set imporperly an dI have read the manual????

It is only keyless entry if you think about it.

The factory alarm arms when you lock the doors and disarms when you unlock the doors. If you would like to test the alarm, lock your doors w/remote with the window down. Reach into the car and unlock the door from inside. Open the door and the alarm will sound. Oh, and read the manual.

after u set the alarm u have to wait 30 seconds, then u will see a red light stay on in the dash on drivers side, once that light stays on if u open the car without using the remote the alarm will go off
