Default Could it be frame damage?

I bought a used 03 track z in 2005. I was able to get big discounts cuz there was some damage to a small section of the under body on the passenger side, right under the door. I've been driving it for 2 years with no problems (ie accident, death)

I don't think it's part of the frame or anything but then again I'm no expert..

When I bought it I thought it wasn't a big deal. Maybe I can spray some rust inhibitor spray on there. I think the previous owner ran over a rock and just attempted to drive off of it. SHAME~

Looks like someone tried to jack it up there. Thats a soft part and a lot of people don't know how to properly jack a Z up.

If you're worried about it, clean it up and spray it with that weather coating spray. Im not sure of the name, but exhaust shops use it to cover welds that can rust. You can find it at pep boys. Another alternative is to use the spray on bedliner material.

Pic of my car in 30 years notice how I opted for the tie down instead of the hood pins!

^see what happened when I didn't take care of that rust!
