My damn fuel door doesnt pop open like it should. I know this has been covered before but i searched and came up with diddly squat... how do I fix this?? i have to hit the button like 100 times ( no lie) for it to pop even a little, and now i have to have someone with me to open the door when i press the release button.. how do I fix this?? thanks all..

Once you get it open, just check and make sure there is nothing obstructing it and that the door is lined up properly.

Mine was doing the same thing. I had it in for some other service work and I mentioned it to the dealer. They put a little grease on the hinges and it works fine now.

I had the same problem a while back. The dealer did the tsb on it. But it happened again. I was able to hear the solenoid operating, so I knew something was physically holding it shut. It turned out to be the stupid gas cap retention plastic cable. I cut it off and have been problem free ever since.
