Dropped my K&N filter in this afternoon without a hitch.....slipped right into place. I've got a very good seal. I haven't driven it yet so I can't comment on any noticable gains....I don't think there will be any.

Installed a K&N today.Being obcessive, shone a flashlite thru the air intake to verify that no gaps existed to allow in unfiltered air..it was OK.Using the foam inserts the filter frame is a much tighter fit than with the stock filter.
Hey if I could rig it anyone can!

Lol, I know what you mean about being obsessive. I even applied some K&N Filter Sealer Grease to the edges of the filter to make sure I had a good seal. That grease is some nasty stuff.
