K&N Air Filter Fit
Dropped my K&N filter in this afternoon without a hitch.....slipped right into place. I've got a very good seal. I haven't driven it yet so I can't comment on any noticable gains....I don't think there will be any.
Installed a K&N today.Being obcessive, shone a flashlite thru the air intake to verify that no gaps existed to allow in unfiltered air..it was OK.Using the foam inserts the filter frame is a much tighter fit than with the stock filter.
Hey if I could rig it anyone can!

Lol, I know what you mean about being obsessive. I even applied some K&N Filter Sealer Grease to the edges of the filter to make sure I had a good seal. That grease is some nasty stuff.
hmmm... can you guys post pics of the foam strips?? i don't know what you guys are talkin about. I bought a filter from a user here in the forums and it just came wid the filter. Instructions say its a gasket?
ohhh ic. thanx danotto. i'm so dumb... it was inside the box the whole time. Stuck to the sides of the wall. i'm gonna install the foam strip now. But even with out it.. it has a tight seal already.
