Window Repairing Stripped Screw Fix??
Hey fellas, well I had the infamous window problem so I went out and got a replacement motor from Kragens. I replaced it, put it back together and low and behold had a weird issue. I followed the reset procedure to the letter but but whenever you openned the door from the closed position the window would roll down about 2 inches...everytime. So if you closed it and openned it again it would go down another 2 inches...so anyways I called Kragens to get a replacment window motor since I did the reset about 20 times and got the same thing everytime. I have to wait about a week to get the part so since I had it taken apart I decided to clean up the old motor.
I just got done swapping the cleaned up original back in and sure enough it works flawlessly (for now)...I'm still going to replace it with the 'new' refurbished one in a week but I f*cked it up...I stripped one of the 10mm bolts that hold the window rail (the one on top closest to the door lock switch). The screw just spins in place without tightening or loosening and coming out.
I am on here hoping to get an idea of what I can do to remove the screw and replace it, but I'm thinking I stripped the threads on the door...any help would be appreciated!

If the entire bolt is just spinning, the anchor nut it's attached to has dislodged from whatever it was held in place by. You can do one of 2 things.
1. Get a pair of needle nose pliers and pry up on the head of the bolt from underneath the head. At the same time you're doing this, try loosening the bolt with a nut driver.
If this doesn't work and the anchor nut keeps spinning do this:
2. Cut the bold head off with a Dremmel. Make sure and tape up all surrounding areas because the shaving will damage whatever they hit.
