Does TSBs apply to cars out of warranty?

Default Does TSBs apply to cars out of warranty?

Title says it all. Does anyone know?

Yes and No. Yes, a TSB applies to all cars, in or out of warranty. No, the work isn't going to be done for free. A TSB is a technical note to the service tech explaining how to fix a particular problem. If your car is under warranty, then it gets fixed for free. If out of warranty, then you pay. A TSB is not a recall.

Think of a TSB as an addendum after the FSM is printed.
