I had the music all the way down and the a/c off. I just cant seem to place it. I checked the visor and rear view mirror but that is not it. It may be coming from the shifter area. I will have to get a passenger in there to listen for it, until then any ideas?

Damn, its annoying. Had to turn the music back up cause it was driving me crazy

 

If you have a manual transmission, it could be the leather of the shifter rubbing up against the metal. I have this problem.

 

Sometimes, I just jiggle the shfit boot (leather) and the foam inside, and it'll fix the problem for a while! Now it doesn't happen again!

I do have the rear view mirror rattle ones in a while though!! Hard to replicate to the dealers as it doesn't happen all the time!!

 

I had this rattle, too. Try to find a place where you can replicate the rattle when not driving too fast. Then drive over the spot and place your hand on top of the 3 console gauges (trip computer, oil, battery). Those rattled on mine. Also, with your hand on top of the gauges, place your thumb on the plastic console that surrounds the gauges. That rattled, too. There is a tsb on rattles, the dealer installed a 'rattle kit', some foam under the gauges, which fixed the gauge rattle, but the console plastic still rattled sometimes. I made some tiny wooden shims from match sticks and stuffed them down in the cracks around the console so they couldn't be seen, that fixed the console rattle.
