How long are TSB's good for?
I think my head lamp falls under repair for a TSB I just read about. How long are TSB's good for? Do they fall under warranty or even out of warranty? Thanks everyone...

A TSB that is safety related will almost always be under a recall and no charge. A TSB for an emission control will almost also be no cost or reduced cost.

TBS are nothing more than an instruction to the service techs on how to identify and fix a known problem. Think of them as an addendum to the FSM. Therefore they are good forever.
If you have the problem and you're still under warranty, then it's covered. If your car is out of warranty then you'll have to pay.
A TSB is NOT a recall, either safety or emissions related.

My question is: Are the headlamps covered under the powertrain warranty? I don't have a warranty booklet and I know it sounds like it probably doesn't fit under powertrain but I've heard of crazier things. Thanks...

Outside of the warranty period, a manufacturing defect is purely a customer satisfaction issue since the fix is no longer mandatory. All manufacturers set aside a certain amount of $$ for their dealers to use for such issues and hence they are looked at strictly on a case-by-case basis. If you have a great relationship with the staff at your local dealership, they will waive the charge.
