I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced any problems with the paint. the other day i was washing my baby when i notice 2 small rust dots about the size of a pencil tip on the roof above the drivers seat. I also noticed a bunch of small orange specs all over the hatch. im wondering if anyone else has noticed this happening with their z's. i read something about a 5 year 60000 mile warranty, so i think i might head up to the dealership sometime next week. i wonder if theyll paint it a new coloer any advice would be great!

 

There is a rust/corrosion coverage in the warranty but I'm not familar with the specifics. The big question is are those really rust spots or just something ON the paint. It won't hurt to take it in and let them look at it.

 

Paint related items are hard to get covered at times by nissan.hopefully your dealership will help you out as much as possible.
