Default anyone try the dyi fix dent repair kits?

i have about 5 small dents from hail that i would like to take out, $50.00 a dent seems a bit extreme. anyone try one of these dyi dent fix kits with any success?

They won't work well. The ones that do work, you will have to drill two small holes into the metal near where the dent is. If you are talking about doing it dentless, then it won't work. where are your dings and dent located at on the car?

as long as those dings/dents can be accessed right behind it, it should be cheaper than 50 each. I got 6 dings taken out for 50 dollars. Go to a dealership and ask about the PDI ding person that takes it out for their lot. It should be cheap.

Not sure if you have seen dings and dents taken out, but those places you listed, there might be some extra work behind it like taking off panels or plastics. Doors/fenders/rear quarter panel are the easiest. Hood is easy as long as tehre is no extra metal behind the ding so it can be popped back up.

Also, make sure that the ding isn't to dinged to hard where it already creased the paint because when it gots popped back out, there will be a line or paint crack right there. Make sure it's rounded dings.

the dings are very very very minor, just enough to see the imperfection but no creases in the paint.
