Default Body and paint work

First off, great forum. I'm a new Z owner (03, used) so it's been cool looking around...

I have a dent in the back bumper under neath the license plate and I have some paint deteriorating and chips underneath where my front license plate used to be (it was a Texas car so the license plate was screwed on, but I live in New Mexico and I don't need it- so I don't plan on keeping it there). I should have inspected better but I didn't notice the wear under there when I bought it.

Here's pics:

I've taken it to a local place and they quoted me @ around $700 to get both bumpers fixed. The front is going to be repainted to get rid of the rock chips and I'll put a bra on from there...

What do you guys think about the price and does anyone have any suggestions? Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

$700 seems steep to me for such little ****. Only thing that really backs up the cost is that they are gonig to totally respray both bumpers. If you want it fixed, it's not going to be cheap anywhere you go i guess.

That seems right if they are respraying the entire bumpers. It may be worth it though if they have a hard time matching the paint to spot-fix it. Which I've seen many times before..

That's what I've heard before. I found a place that said they guarantee a spot-fix for $350. My friend took his Civic there and it looks great, so I think I might try them out.... Luckily the front is underneath the license plate area so if worse comes to worst I'll just put the plate back on. I'll have to hope and pray for the back but $350 will be a little easier to swallow for now.

Thanks for the help.
