Default Tranny or Clutch Rattle? WTF?

I'm trying to figure out if I have had this problem since I got the car, or if I did anything to the tranny. I learned stick on this car, but I don't think I gave it too much abuse. At least, not intentionally.

But whatever, I'm trying to figure out if my transmission is actually f'd up, or if it's in my head and the noises are normal. But here's my problem:

This can be heard some of the time, and I think normally after giving it some gas, then pushing in the clutch to stop. I only hear it in low gears. But I hear a good rattle a lot of the time when doing this. Pretty distinct, like a thinner metal rattling back and forth 4 or 5 times or something.

Also happens sometimes after putting it into 1st or 2nd. I've only had my gears grind once (to what I can understand) was once a few backs, with the clutch in to the floor, putting it into first and it just grinded and refused to be put into first. Tried it again, and it was fine, and haven't had that happen again.

Any ideas? I haven't had any slippage (from what I can figure out from this website, it's being in a high gear and having the revs go up by the tranny seems like in neutral). So none of that, and I've got a 2005 35th with just above 22K miles. Please help, the truck I had before this was making the same noise before the whole engine seized up on the highway. At the time I thought it sounded like a loose cat shield, and that's kind of what this sounds like.

Search this forum. This question has been asked about 10 times in the last two weeks. Good luck.

I just went through about 6 months of posts. Most are "Transmission... HELP!", so I have gone through about 30 different posts, nothing really matching my problem. Such as a rattle from a different spot, tranny rattle during something else, a tranny pop, tranny grinding, and nothing I have seen that matches what I have heard during when I have heard it. But I'll check back 2 weeks, maybe the search function has done me wrong.

OK, went back over 2 weeks. Either my parents didn't tell me I'm retarded, or this isn't mentioned. I will try and be clearer, so there is much less to read.

Loud rattle when putting in clutch after accelerating in low gears. Same when shifting in first 2 gears. Not all the time, but maybe half the time I guess. Tranny grinded once a few weeks ago, and that's all.

Loud metal rattle, which sounds like a thin peice of metal rattling up against something, from the front of the car. It only happens with the tranny, or sometimes I think I can hear it when in idle. Any ideas?

It's normal. Most people say it's the throwout bearing. It's the same sound that happens when you turn the car off with the clutch engaged.

You'll learn to be able to shift without it making this noise.
