where do you find it for 150 new???

Jonsilv...the same thing happened to me recently and I did the fix that was posted on here about removing the motor and cleaning it out with contact cleaner. I did it Saturday and it's worked like a charm ever since. The motors get nasty dirty. It's worth the 1/2 hour or so to try and save money. If it doesn't work you're no worse off than you were before.

I will try to find the link and post it up.

I got this with my bodyshop employee discount. The are direct OEM parts from our local Nissan dealer.

I was just in my local Nissan dealer about a month ago and they quoted me 540 dollars with labor. They said the part alone was over 400.

They said the same thing to me the day i messed up my window regulator. They wanted 380 for the for the regulator, 98 dollars just to take a look at my car to see if the regulator is the problem (this fee would be waived if i decided to buy the part from them and have them install it) and extra 200 for two hours of work. That is bull.

I bought the window regulator for a whopping 75 dollars with my same discount from the same dealership i called. The parts person was kind of pissed because i called in as a customer at first then later with the discount to prove how much it was a rip off.

I read about the cleaning of the bushings. I would just get a new motor. Cleaning is only a temp fix.

well I was looking at the fact that I was quoted 540 dollars. 1/2 hour of my time every so often is nothing. But if you can get a brand new motor for 150 bucks than go for it!
