If you're 100 percent sure everything is hooked up correctly, you could try disconnecting the negative battery cable and let the ECU relearn itself.

I just double checked every connection and hoses, everything looks fine.

Any special sequence or procedure to clear/reset the ECU?

Many thanks!

http://www.technosquareinc.com/350reset.htm

First entry. If you're lazy just disconnect the negative ground, then hit the brake repeatedly to completely drain it.

I assume the install involved moving the MAF sensor from the stock tube to the new intake, correct? Did you accidently touch it or possibly damage it? Based on what you describe, the ECU isn't seeing the MAF sensor due to electrical connection or damage.

Did you have the battery disconnected while you did the install?

Air leak is another possibility, but probably wouldn't cause that severe of a problem.

You can reset the ECU by 1) the Technosquare method (very difficult), 2) leave the battery disconnected overnight, 3) disconnect battery and depress brake pedal for a few seconds.

Checked and double checked electrical and hoses ..everything seems in place.

Now svc eng light is out but car is undriveable, erratic idle, no revs it just kinda chokes!

with accelerator pedal steady at 2500 revs ir starts pulsating from 2500 to 3000 rpm then chokes and goes down to 500rpm back to 1000k ...

Great Xmas gift I've given myself..

At this point, about all you can do it put the stock air box/tube back in the car and limp it over to the dealer and see what they find out.

Did the idle air volume reset and pedal reset, all good.
Car now has idle and starts, every connection rechecked and fine.
Car is stuck in "limp mode" any "underground" way to get it out of this mode??

Thanks and Happy Holidays!!

If it's in limp mode there should be a code stored that can point you in the right direction. There's no "underground" way to get it out of limp mode, except to fix whatever is causing the problem.

Problem solved!

Beware of which intake you get !!!

I bought a Fujita which is supposed to fit the '07 350, unfortunately, the passenger side intake runner has the MAF sensor mount welded backwards !!
The sensor only fits one way in the mount and it puts the MAF backwards in the runner the driver's side is ok though.

It can be modified to work but I paid for something that I expected to work as advertised not for me to MAKE it work so I've already contacted the seller for a replacement/refund.

My thank yous to all that replied and helped, much appreciated!!!

Laterzzz...

Spoke to rep from Fujita, they'll be sending replacement runner and pick-up tab for the defective one. He seemed honestly surprised and it took a bit of explaining so he could understand what was happening.

Hopefully this was the exception and not the norm, won't look good for them if theres a whole batch of defective late model intakes out in the market.

Werd. This thread is useless now. Any n00b searching for the same problem is never going to find this thread doing a search because someone didn't title it correctly.

Dang!! I didn't see the "big picture", my apologies I thought you guys were just being a bit "****", again, my apologies.

This could definitively benefit and possibly save time and aggravation to any new intake buyers.

Any way maybe a mod can edit the title, willing to cooperate, let me know mods.

Its cool.

You have until July 2008 to be a jeep. After that you will be a veteran and expected to set an example for the jeeps.
