Default Rear Wiper Blade?

I can get the nissan front wiper blades on and off with no problem, but the rear wiper does not give me enough clearance to put the new one on, I have the Proline Wiper Blade 18" for the rear as it said in their fitment book, do I have the wrong blade or is there a trick to getting this thing on.

Push the little button down. Push the old wiper DOWN. Lock the new wiper in place by pulling it UP.

I understand that, I just can't get enough clearance to get the wiper hook in place on the new blade.
