Default Body control module (BCM)

Well I lost my keys a few nights ago and now I'm tyring to get some replacements. To avoid having my car towed, I called a few local locksmiths to see if any of them had a consult or any other kind of key programmer to program a key for me.

Luckily, I found a guy who thinks he can do it. He's going to charge $120 to come to my house and take care of it. This saves me some money from a tow and whatever insane price nissan charges for programming. I ordered a blank key from eBay because I didn't want to pay the $95 quoted by the stealership, but I still have to have them cut the key since I have nothing to copy. Apparently cost is by type of key so they said it could be anywhere betwee $20-$60, just for a cut.

The guy who is going to program the key said he needs a code off the BCM which makes sense because the bcm controls all the security and key codes and what not. I'm pretty sure the BCM is located in the front left kick panel but I'm not entirely sure. Obviously I can't get in my car to check it out. So...

SHORT VERSION:

Where is the BCM located? How hard is it to get too/ how long will it take to access?

Also, anyone ever had someone besides the dealership program a key for them?

The BCM is in the driverside kick panel.
remove the dead pedal and the trim to get to it.
But you must be inside..

dealer only charges 45$ or less to reprogram keys (and that from the crappiest dealership around me)
